October 25, 2017 -
The 2017 Skipping Summit Committee would like to thank all the athletes, coaches, parents, and volunteers for making the weekend at Sacred Heart School in Wetaskiwin a huge success. We had 90 athletes from across Alberta attend the summit!
The 2017 Skipping Summit included over 20 hours of instruction time in the gym from 6 incredibly talented facilitators.
The Summit was not only for athletes. Jodi Harrison and Myles Bogstie were also able to hold a judges workshop for new and returning judges. Julianna Bourne gave a session on injury prevention and management. Dianne Wearden introduced double dutch turning to a large group of eager parents. So eager that parents were also learning how to jump in the ropes!
The weekends average rating was a 9.4 out of 10!!!
